Cars registered outside the UK and imported may only come with a 2 year warranty
For BMW Approved Used Cars:
1 year AUC comprehensive warranty, unlimited mileage.
1 year breakdown cover with BMW Assist.
BMW MOT Protect.
Not covered: brake and clutch facings, discs and drums, bulbs and fuses, channels and guides, weather strips and seals, handles, hinges and check straps, trim, upholstery and cosmetic finishes, wheels and tyres, wiper blades and arms, glass, auxiliary drive belts, coolant and fuel hoses, the cleaning and adjustment of any component and all service items or items that will require periodic replacement.
AUC warranty does NOT cover corrosion.
Fitted Parts:
2 years, unlimited mileage.
Wiper blade inserts are only covered for manufacturing defects.
Cars must be booked in for investigation to the part, if the part is fitted correctly and faulty, the part will be replaced and fitted by us.
Bodywork:
12 year Corrosion Anti-Perforation Warranty. (For Vehicles Sold after 01/01/2004) – does not include alloy’s
6 year Corrosion Anti-Perforation Warranty. (For Vehicles Sold before 31/12/2003) – does not include alloy’s
Covers corrosion which occurs from inside metal panels or box sections of the car.
Does not cover corrosion caused by neglect, accident damage, stone chips or other external influences.
Unlimited mileage.
Paintwork:
3 year, unlimited mileage.
Defects such as blistering, discolouration or staining of the visible surface occurring as a result of faulty manufacture or workmanship.
Imported Vehicles:
2 year, unlimited mileage.
KDS:
1 year or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Wheel alignment and balancing faults occurring as a result of manufacturing defect.
Wheels have to be checked for damage first.
Bulbs:
3 year, unlimited mileage.
Insured Warranty:
There are couple of different types; Driveline, Named Component, Comprehensive and Lapsed.
BMW i Warranty:
As per the New Car Warranty but the BMW i high voltage battery is warranted for up to 8 years from the date of registration, or up to 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
BMW iPerformance:
As per the New Car Warranty but the iPerformance high voltage battery is warranted for up to 6 years from the date of registration or up to 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
