Diagnostic /Investigation on:

£135 (plus VAT) for first hour, then standard labour rate

Scope of Booked Work:
- Servicing.
- Brake Pads / Discs.
- QE’s / Recalls, including timing chain campaigns.
- Repair work/fitting components previously diagnosed/recommended on VHC.
- ‘Simple’ investigative work. (No rattles, water ingress, or complex concerns.)
Booking Work:
When loading work into the Brighton workshop diary for service ‘while-u-sleep’, please ensure it is loaded against Technicians with ‘LATES’ against their name and have times available in the evenings.
Please also select the RTS code “LATE” This will display a ‘***LATE SHIFT BOOKING***’ message on the jobcard.
Make sure to send a brief email with the WIP number to the service department.
Vehicle Drop-Off:
- Customers requiring the use of a loan vehicle overnight will need to drop their vehicle off between 5pm and 6pm.
- Customers not requiring a loan vehicle can drop their vehicle off up until 7pm.
- Customers can request a lift within a two mile radius of the Centre up until 7pm.
Customers can request a lift within a 2 mile radius of the Centre. Make Bronwyn aware first.
Vehicle Collection
- With prior special arrangement, vehicles can be ready for 7.30am. Vehicles collected at this time will not be washed or hovered, however a wash voucher will be provided for the customer to call in at their convenience during normal working hours.
- All cleaned vehicles will be ready for collection from 08.00am.
Tyre Booking:
Email Service / Parts with the tyre dimensions and customer details and advise the customer the centre will be in touch
Do not make a booking- the centre will deal with the customer direct
Customer may drop in if they have a FLAT tyre but they may have a lengthy wait
Tyre Insurance:
If the customer has tyre insurance please ask for the vehicle to be left for at least a morning or an afternoon.
If the customer insists on waiting, explain that we cannot guarantee a timescale as we have to wait for the tyre insurance to authorise the work.
Winter Wheels:
Winter Tyres same booking process. £36 Inc per season. 48 hours required to bring wheels into stock. Notify parts of wip.
KDS Wheel & Suspension Alignment:
Please use RTS Code “3200150” and “3200630” to make a KDS Booking.
£180 inc VAT
Please do not book as a Fast Lane / Pit Stop as a KDS will take over 3 hours to complete.

Isofix
Vehicles incorporating a service visit with the Isofix QEP will need to allow an additional FULL day for the bodyshop to carry out the repair.
Vehicles in for Isofix QEP on its own can be completed in a day provided C&D is not required and the car is onsite by 9am. (if C&D required or customer cant get vehicle onsite till after 9am then allow 2 days)
Load on the jobcard as a NOTES line.
Please inform the Bodyshop (Barry Giles + Ryan O’Neill) when making a booking.
Crankshaft Guide Bearing Shells
Please tell customer that we may need the vehicle in for 2 days.
If booking a loan car please allocate amount of days accordingly.
DO NOT tell the customer that they may need an engine replacement. (unless asked directly)
Load in the diary as 36 aw’s
Flexible Disc
This can be done in one day but please advise the customer the vehicle may be in for 2 days if the disc does need replacing after the check.
Instrument Panel
Book as the CHECK ONLY first. (8aw’s)
If after the check it does need replacing the part has to be ordered in (currently from Germany) as it is chassis specific.
So please inform the customer that if after the check it does need replacing, it will NOT be carried out the same day and will have to be rebooked when the part arrives.
The part could potentially take up to 1 month to arrive once ordered (should usually be sooner but make the customer aware if asked).
Programming QEPs
If a vehicle requires re-programming as part of a QEP or Recall, we will need the vehicle for the day.
EGR RECALLS
EGR COOLER – Determine if B or N Type Engine (18 or 12 Aws)
EGR VALVE – 20 Aws
Select the RECALL line / EGR Tick Box – Cannot be a WAITING appointment
