What do I need to do?
- Check the Workshop Loading Diary to find next available booking date.
- Ensure the customer is over 21 years of age, (Enterprise can arrange insurance transfer on customers who are between 17 and 21) and has a manual driving licence.
- Explain that the vehicle will be a small car. This ‘Class B’ vehicle is available at a special rate of £20.00 Inc Vat a day. The ‘Class B’ rental car will be a Ford Fiesta, Vauxhall Corsa, or similar sized vehicle. (If the customer needs a larger vehicle, Enterprise can discuss this with them directly.)
- Make sure you have the following information available before you make the Enterprise referral:
- Customer’s first and surname.
- Customer’s email.
- Customer’s contact phone numbers.
- Likely time period of hire and booking date.
- Log into the Enterprise ARMS Automated Rental Management System.
- Select the relevant BMW Centre the vehicle is being booked into.
- Complete the reservation: (Please leave all other fields as they are unless mentioned below.)
- Click on ‘Create Reservation’.
- Enter in the customer’s first and last name.
- Enter in the Post Code of the BMW / MINI Centre this vehicle is booked at to find the local Enterprise Branch.
- Select ‘CUSTOMER PAY’ under ‘Reason For Hire.
- Under ‘RENTAL INFORMATION’, please enter the date and time you wish to make the reservation for.
- Enter the number of days the reservation needs to cover in the ‘Number of days to initially authorise box’.
- Enter any relevant information which Enterprise needs to know (Automatic only licence, under 21, etc) in the ‘Note to Enterprise’ box.
- Select a ‘Class B’ vehicle form the ‘View’ box in the ‘Rate / Vehicle Class’ selection.
- Enter the customer’s email and phone number in the relevant boxes.
- Type the customer’s registration number in the ‘Job Number’ box.
- In the ‘PICK-UP AND RETURN INFORMATION’ section, click on ‘Find Address’ under the ‘Pick-Up’ section, and select the BMW / MINI Centre’s address.
- Under the ‘Return’ section, click the on ‘Same as Delivery location’ box.
- Click ‘Confirm Reservation’ to complete the booking.
- The ‘Find Customer’ can be used to amend existing reservation requests.
- Enterprise will then contact the customer within the next hour to confirm details.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Age Policy for UK Car Rentals.
- For vehicle classes A to F, and mini MPV the driver must be 21 years of age or over.
- 17-21 age group can arrange their own insurance to be transferred.
Licence, Documents, Payment and Age Requirements.
- Additional Drivers – There is no additional charge providing all drivers are listed on the same insurance policy.
- AGE – All drivers must be a minimum of 21 years old. Only drivers over 25 years old may rent Full-Size MPVS, Premiums, or Four-Wheel Drives.
- MILEAGE- ALL VEHICLES INCLUDE UNLIMITED MILEAGE.
- One way rentals to airports incur a charge
- Payment- if the dealer is paying for the rental, the renter must pay a deposit of up to £50 using a major debit or credit card in his or her own name
- Documentation- all drivers must produce all parts of a valid driving license. Non-EU license holders are required to have an international driving permit if the license is not in English.
Damage Waiver including Theft Protection (DW) – Excess may apply.
- ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR PROVIDES DAMAGE WAIVER WHICH REDUCES THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH DAMAGE TO AND OR THEFT OF THE ENTERPRISE VEHICLE SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF YOUR RENTAL AGREEMENT. DAMAGE AND THEFT RESPONSIBILITY IS THE FULL VALUE OF THE VEHICLE. DAMAGE WAIVER MAY BE MANDATORY AND INCLUDED IN THE QUOTE. CUSTOMERS WHO CAN PROVIDE INDEPENDENT AND VERIFIED PROVISION TO COVER DAMAGE AND THEFT TO THE ENTERPRISE VEHICLE MAY BE ABLE TO DECLINE DW.
Liability Insurance (other Road Users) are Covered by the Customer’s own Insurance in all Cases.
Excess Protection (EP).
- In the event of damage and or theft, an excess is applicable which varies depending on vehicle type and location. Excess protection will cover £500 of damage, subject to terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
