Labour Rate:

Retail per hour: £135 (plus VAT) – Retail per AW: £11.25 (plus VAT)

Watford do not offer a ‘Four Plus’ labour rate, all repairs are at full retail unless BMW menu option or promotion

Road Tests:

Only between 10:00 – 16:00

MINI bookings:

BMW Advisor to be used for BMW/MINI Bookings

Diagnostic Available:

EVERY DAY – MON- FRI

Advise cust of fees and if a Friday / Saturday booking, the car will be kept until Monday

Diagnostic Charge:

£135 (plus VAT) for first hour, then standard labour rate

MOT Bookings:

ALL MOT ARE WAITING APPOINTMENTS (MOT only – no advisor line needed ) 90 min

If customer wants MOT -leave all day- Select MOT Waiting and input S/E times as customer requirement-(ie; 8-5)

Add notes line to ensure centre are aware its LEAVE ALL DAY

NO MOTS ON SATURDAYS

Waiting Bookings:

Select BMW ADVISOR and either FASTLANE or PITSTOP for waiting appointments (NON MOT)

Advise the customer of how long the appointment will take-

Small Service – 90mins (2hrs with Wash and Vac)

Large Services – 3hours+

MOT, BFS, EOWC and SS – 3hours+

For appointments 3hours or more please book a MORNING or AFTERNOON appointment

Saturday Bookings:

Service and MOT Bookings – Please check availability with service

No Recall/QEP bookings on Saturday’s

Drop Ins:

Customers are now able to bring their car in for a drop off service – the next day- if they have the following issues ONLY-

Enterprise Booking:

Available – Advise customer charges start from £20

Please make note on job card that an Enterprise vehicle has been arranged and the customer is aware of the charges please add day rate to the job card.

i Bookings:

Service/Tyres/Basic repairs (excluding electrical)

All electrical (high voltage) work needs to be passed to the service department

Leave the load skill as BMW mechanical

Bodyshop Facilities:

No onsite bodyshop, please refer customer to Barons Accident Aftercare if new call 0844 844 8578

Bodyshop enquiries every Wednesday between 13:00 – 17:00

Tyre Booking:

Email Service / Parts with the tyre dimensions and customer details and advise the customer the centre will be in touch

Do not make a booking- the centre will deal with the customer direct

Customer may drop in if they have a FLAT tyre but they may have a lengthy wait

Tyre Insurance:

If the customer has tyre insurance please ask for the vehicle to be left for at least a morning or an afternoon.

If the customer insists on waiting, explain that we cannot guarantee a timescale as we have to wait for the tyre insurance to authorise the work.

Winter Wheels:

Load TYRE on the Global Data labour line and change the load skill to BMW mechanical. Edit text with  ‘Carry out winter wheel swap’

Contact the parts team telling them when the wheels need to be brought into stock and send WIP number

KDS Wheel & Suspension Alignment:

Please use RTS Code “3200150” and “3200630” to make a KDS Booking.

Please do not book as a Fast Lane / Pit Stop as a KDS will take over 3 hours to complete.

Air Con Recharge - £189

Air Conditioning Recharge:

  • Air Conditioning Recommended to be Recharged Every 3 years.
  • Drain All Refrigerant.
  • Recharge Refrigerant and Lubricant.
  • Check System Operating Pressures.

Please advise the customer that this is not applicable as a waiting job.

Air Con Refresh - £39

Air Conditioning Refresh:

    • Clean and Disinfect the Evaporator.
    • Clean and Disinfect Entire Air Duct System.
  • Treat Air Vents and Vehicle Interior.

Routine Maintenance Check - £29.95

Available in 0W-30, 0W-20, and 10W-60 Viscosities.
