£162  inc VAT for first hour, then standard labour rate

Retail per hour: £135 (plus VAT) – Retail per AW: £11.25 (plus VAT)

MOT Bookings:

ALL MOT ARE 90 MIN WAITING APPOINTMENTS (MOT only – no advisor line needed )

If customer wants MOT -leave all day- Select MOT Waiting and input S/E times as customer requirement-(ie; 8-5)

Add notes line to ensure centre are aware its LEAVE ALL DAY

MOTS ON SATURDAYS

Waiting Bookings:

Select BMW ADVISOR and either FASTLANE or PITSTOP for waiting appointments (NON MOT)

Advise the customer of how long the appointment will take-

Small Service – 90mins (2hrs with Wash and Vac)

Large Services – 3hours+

MOT, BFS, EOWC and SS – 3hours+

For appointments 3hours or more please book a MORNING or AFTERNOON appointment (add 30 mins with wash)

Saturday Bookings:

All service work, MOT and recalls can be carried out on Saturdays

No diagnostic work is to be booked for a Saturday (unless agreed with service) .

Bodyshop Facilities:

Full bodyshop on site, please refer all bodywork / alloy refurbs to the bodyshop department direct.

Tyre Booking:

Email pwhite@chandlers-bmw.co.uk with the tyre dimensions and customer details and advise the customer the centre will be in touch

Do not make a booking- the centre will deal with the customer direct

Cust may drop in if they have a FLAT tyre but they may have a lengthy wait

Please refer all tyre enquiries to Phil White (208748)

Tyre Insurance:

If the customer has tyre insurance please ask for the vehicle to be left for at least a morning or an afternoon.

If the customer insists on waiting, explain that we cannot guarantee a timescale as we have to wait for the tyre insurance to authorise the work.

Winter Wheels:

Refer to Phil White (208748) – Winter wheels stored at BMW UK, 10 days notice required to return wheels to Worthing. £61 inc VAT per season to swap and store.

KDS Wheel & Suspension Alignment:

Please use RTS Code “3200150” and “3200630” to make a KDS Booking.

£180 inc VAT

Please do not book as a Fast Lane / Pit Stop as a KDS will take over 3 hours to complete.

If booking alongside any service work, this can be booked normally (1day).

Anything other then servicing, allow 2/3 days.

Make sure to inform bodyshop of any bookings made and if short notice, check prior to booking. (David Collins / Nikki Goodman)

Crankshaft Guide Bearing Shells

Please tell customer that we may need the vehicle in for 2 days.

If booking a loan car please allocate amount of days accordingly.

DO NOT tell the customer that they may need an engine replacement. (unless asked directly)

Load in the diary as 36 aw’s

Flexible Disc

This can be done in one day but please advise the customer the vehicle may be in for 2 days if the disc does need replacing after the check.

Instrument Panel

Book as the CHECK ONLY first. (8aw’s)

If after the check it does need replacing the part has to be ordered in (currently from Germany) as it is chassis specific.

So please inform the customer that if after the check it does need replacing, it will NOT be carried out the same day and will have to be rebooked when the part arrives.

The part could potentially take up to 1 month to arrive once ordered (should usually be sooner but make the customer aware if asked).

Programming QEPs

If a vehicle requires re-programming as part of a QEP or Recall, we will need the vehicle for the day.
